It was the Dragons ... They were looking at me like ... there was fire building in their throat ... and then the "ships bell" at the foot of the stairs "rang". In this house that means one of the ladies, my wife or my mother-in-law, needs help; NOW!

If I remember correctly, and remembering things is a risky thing with me, there are two houses close together, one owned by "Ryaca" and the other by "Ryaca_1". That's why I was a bit hesitant. Ryaca on the forum and meet Ryaca_1 in game, so I said to my SELF:

"SELF, this is an alt right?"

"Yes, talk to him you fool!" and of course my "fat fingeritis" struck again and I end up doing a silly little dance in front of you.

Well the screenshot was taken earlier but trust me, you still can't tell the difference, they are "Identical Twins".

And shortly after I took Pistachio up on his offer to do some "Pet Training". Earlier in the day without him knowing one was KBS*, he /msg'ed me offering to take me Pet Training.

So, later, we agreed on a time and place, now - over here, and that was how it happened that I took "The Pistachio Pet Training 101 Course"

This of course happened in a very safe area and for the most part I was reading and watching.
With the odd "yup", "yes" and "ok" tossed in when I was asked some Q's. He made it look so easy.

After a while I had to go. Family birthday here today, and I needed to do some prep work last night as things start at midnight.

Came back online and helped a friend(78) - or is it 76? - by doing some mining and crafting, while he was collecting shields by the Viking Landing I was getting iron and carbon for him.

In the end ... he didn't fail once But look at the coin he got! With 16 shield converted!! YEA!!!

Today I was up early and went to finish levelling up to 169 with Vlads, I then reset my stats and went "Pet Training 101" practising.
Took a little getting use to but by the end I was doing pretty good I think and not as hard as I thought

As I said Birthday here today, so I'll be in and out all day so like last night, I see green txt - and the bell rang, logged without finding out who. If you are reading this ... so sorry but at least now you know!

Now to play a little.

Yesterday there was a birthday in the house, not mine, my mother-in-laws. A few people /w or /msg-ed me wishing me a happy b-day, so sorry for the confusion. And as stated earlier I was on again, off again all day.

In an earlier post I mentioned the /w ay Map 0,0 "something, lost" just as I had to blink out. Well I disappointed another little fairy(16/18) as my wife said come now! So I broke the swarm and ran ... all I saw was "faryname(16): ;(". Very sorry for that, I hope you see me again some time and tell me how disappointed you were so I can make it up to you.

I did a LOT of practising with Pistachio's Pet Training 101 yesterday too. Now I must admit someone, maybe you Nutz, a long time ago said:

... and I tried. Very awkward and quickly abandoned. Well, since PT 101 is based on Joy Stick, use I am using it. Why of why didn't I continue the first time. Talk about an easy way to position pets. Still a bit awkward but jetting better, except for a few OOPSIES!

Three times I tried to go hunting IN one of my two favourite spots to take the Twins. Always busy. Well, there are two times in the day that those spots are "usually" free. So I went there last night at one of those times. YUP FREE!

Topped of the last half of lvl 169 to 170, and stuck around and for lvl 171 to boot. Got that "just" as my was was turning light off to go to bed! Perfect timing.

Pistachio - you're awasome. Let me know when and where you are conducting Pistachio's Pet Training 102 Course and I'll make sure I'm available and will hustle over to get a seat front row and centre with notebook and pencil in hand.

Today I have a whole bunch of wands to give away, if they don't go I'll sell them and use some coin to help and will go tank for a while I think.

The joystick is akward at first but it gets to be second nature the longer you use it. I have used it almost since I started my career here and I am very skilled with the joystick now.

Also remember that you can make the joystick and buttons larger or smaller in the settings.

Purrrrfect +1 answer. Exactly my thoughts and current controls lol


It just takes practice like I said, some only use it only for spawning but IMO you just have so much better control overall with the Joystick. It's annoying sometimes on long walks, unless you can figure out the autowalk trick. Used to be easy (hold direction button down, open up inventory) now it's a bit harder to autowalk down, left, etc because lf the joystick placement, but still possible again


I'm not saying I'm the best or anything by far, as I'm sure there are those thst are more skilled at me with the joystick. I'm just taking what all I learned the hard why and trying to teach it before you have any more "hard" lessons. Meow <3


Also I don't know if you have / haven't already but as Ryaca mentioned, play around with button size. Remember where you set it (write it down) and pick different sizes and see which "feels" the best.
