By the time anyone strong enough to kill the hundreds or thousands of enemies to get the gear it's obsolete. Nothing wrong with making gear hard to get but 1/1000?
What's the thinking behind that? Is killing the same enemie for hours your idea of fun?

Most of the drop rates come from mmo. If items were that accessible they would have no value to the players. The high levels who can acquire them do so to sell to those who need them. I play both, and personally think mmo and rpg need different drop rates and accessibility to items because they ARE obsolete by the time you can get them.
