Suggestion for dwarf skills

30 skill edit: 50% spell resist and 50% damage resist.
Or...
60 skill edit: Double damage to all enemies in range.
Or something similar? :)
What do y'all think? I wanna hear everyone's opinion ;)
Does it ever really get better?

lvl 30 skill negates all skills and spells damage, or reflects 50% damage from spells or skills.

Lvl60 skill double damage sounds good.

This defiantly good idea dwarfs need a pvp boost very bad

Not just thinking about a PvP boost, but dwarf class has only one useful skill. (Unless you really like using sprint, like me :D)

I was the biggest champion for the dwarf's rights long ago when I played a dwarf as my GM account (before we became boosted accounts). I really pushed for the speed because the dwarf was at the time a step slower than the other classes, and with the slow spell, the dwarf was basically useless in PvP. I also pushed for the attack in all directions to combat the problems, and also asked for ranged attack, which was not implemented. Since the dwarf can't get away, the dwarf could stand and swing an axe on a chain - that was the idea back then. I was so happy to see the dwarf get these skills. But that was then and these days, the dwarf has been left behind even more. The dwarf really does need some improvements - especially something like the other fighting classes that can inflict 30-40% damage in a single blow. The others have it, why not the dwarf?

I don't know the best solution, but I certainly agree with this thread - the dwarf needs improvements.

They can have the slow sword - swordsman no longer has it :lol:

Actually, I'm all for the dwarf having some sort of % based fire skill.

Personally, I'd like skills to be equippable, and for classes to have more choices..
Like say, you can choose 3 skills out of a large set.

Sadly, I'm not really the best at ideas for what the skills could be, so that not everyone chooses the exact same 3.

The only idea I can think of is that of the three slots for skills, each slot only gives you a choice from a certain category.
One could be a self buff category, where you can choose a temporary buff to one stat type. Some might choose dex, some might choose str or arm. You have to choose one of the available buffs.
The next could be a choice of attack skills... perhaps a choice between a % skill, an AoE (area of effect, like the dwarf has now), and a DoT (damage over time, like poison or burn) skill.
The last could be your debuff category, where you hinder your opponent - freeze and slow go here, and perhaps things that can affect enemy stats as well.

Not sure if that idea will fly for everyone, but, perhaps if its tweaked it could be good.

EDIT: another idea to go with this - skills could possibly have levels like trades do, where you could level them up for a small bonus. A new tab could be added to view the progress in each skill.

would love choices from a category, for any class.
not sure if it can be done within the tolset used to create ft. but if it can it would be awesome.
same with the second part.choosing betwen maybe extra time for slowing or extra dmg etc.
accounts would become much more different, adding a huge tactical layer and lots of roleplay opportunities.
