They can have the slow sword - swordsman no longer has it
Actually, I'm all for the dwarf having some sort of % based fire skill.
Personally, I'd like skills to be equippable, and for classes to have more choices..
Like say, you can choose 3 skills out of a large set.
Sadly, I'm not really the best at ideas for what the skills could be, so that not everyone chooses the exact same 3.
The only idea I can think of is that of the three slots for skills, each slot only gives you a choice from a certain category.
One could be a self buff category, where you can choose a temporary buff to one stat type. Some might choose dex, some might choose str or arm. You have to choose one of the available buffs.
The next could be a choice of attack skills... perhaps a choice between a % skill, an AoE (area of effect, like the dwarf has now), and a DoT (damage over time, like poison or burn) skill.
The last could be your debuff category, where you hinder your opponent - freeze and slow go here, and perhaps things that can affect enemy stats as well.
Not sure if that idea will fly for everyone, but, perhaps if its tweaked it could be good.
EDIT: another idea to go with this - skills could possibly have levels like trades do, where you could level them up for a small bonus. A new tab could be added to view the progress in each skill.
