Many of you already know, but MM has now left the GM team.
He will be sorely missed. Mad has been with ft forever. A big thank you from me.
We need our GMs to keep the game going. Just remember that.
Without the GMs, ft will collapse.
But remember that GMs are volunteers. They choose to take on that role to guide and police us.
The GM team was already stretched and now more so. Let's all be patient.

Yeah, it's true, I'm done.
99% chance I'm not coming back too.
GM is a position where you get crapped on a lot, and you do it for free.
I simply reached a point of no return.
In the past, I'd take extended breaks, vacations, to clear my head - that is not the case this time.
I'm playing another mmo and I'm rather happy there - it's nearly completely opposite of FT.
So my advice to all - support your GMs, as Leone says above; they are handling so many things to try and keep the game running as smooth and as fairly as possible. They are not superhumans, just people who care. I guarantee you that you don't know half of what they do, or what they put up with. The extents that players can go to when trying to cheat, and the abuses they'll dish out when caught.
It's really tough to deal with that, and still greet the rest of the players "with a smile", so to speak.
Seriously, working at a fast food restaurant would be easier IMO.
