Bug with companion

Hi.
I buy a yellow archer for 150k gold in the middle of map (3,0), in the underground with a chest. I was so happy until he began to fight. He does 0 dmg, even to Axe Stan (1lvl enemy).
I want to ask you is it a bug or is that how it should be?
If it is a bug, I'm asking you to fix it.

No bug. It's a feature so players at this level don't have a relatively overpowered pet.

But why 0 dmg? You could not give him, at least 10-20 dmg? Its not so many.

It's the same idea with Resa and the three kings you escort. They are quest NPCs rather than pets. For pets that fight back you need the pet shop.

You make a good point, Leone, except that the yellow archer has no quest to complete when you take him. He is simply a follower, like ptery pet. One time pet, no quest to finish once gotten.

The "lost adventurer" found in the cave on spawn map is a quest npc and he does fight back. I can't say I've ever relied on him to do anything though, other than to follow me around for the 30 seconds it takes to get him back to Kedington.

I 've just picked up the Amazon with an alt. No fighting ability but good extra storage.

I think this report started about the yellow archer inside the area on map 3.0, not the adventurer in skeleton dungeon on spawn map. Adventurer (and amazon) both appear nerfed to 0 attack, and that's fine, since you shouldn't have them for more than 5 minutes anyway. The yellow archer, tho, is a permanent pet. No delivery location. He should have at least SOME small damage.
