Verily I say unto you, a knight in rusty or dirty armour doesn't know how to maintain his armour.

Clean and shining armour with dents and scrapes is the sign of a well rounded battle worn knight.
Totally can't find a good squire nowadays! :D

Say what? No SSSquire?

LostKnight has a squad of them.

Well, when I got back to the house I did see a group of low-level characters all standing in the same area beside my house. Feeling a bit on edge from recent eerie phenomenon in the northeastern part of Ardesia I began asking questions. (Not to be confused with ardesia, who is just rock solid and makes eerie phenomena bow to her whims.)

They all had similar flimsy excuses. Really, a group of people with the same names other than consecutive numbers at the end, all doing the same thing ("uh, I'm just standing here holding stuff for an indefinite time"), all in the same area, all at the same time, and all right outside my house???

I pressed them for info, and when stories seemed to check out I pressed them into action.

First, cleaning the pet stalls. Unsure what dragons have been eating while penned up, but I did not care for the aftermath. Hmmm... rule 1 about having pets is that you have to take care of them yourself? Well, rule 1(a) is that you can get someone else to do it for you, so I'm covered.

Next, cleaning up scattered zander fish bones in the area. The first guy got caught trying to dump them back in GOLGREN's yard, but he wasn't carrying anything real valuable and proved a good distraction for the others.

I was making good headway on the list of chores Mrs. SellSword had for around the house. Making good use of my supervisor skills I had the rest taken care of in a hurry!

I sent a few out to pick up more coffee beans and a larger coffee machine (seems like I'm making coffee for 20 people some days, for reasons that are likely unrelated to LK stopping by), but the rest were still available. They had been reasonably competent so far, so cleaning armor could be arranged.

One cleaning montage later, my black knight armor was looking rather spiffy!

Still, I am eager for that level 500 soul armor as I understand the captured souls do a fine job with self-mending and such...

VERY NICE Armour indeed. I like it!

And just so you know, I have only been by twice for coffee, and Mrs SellSwrord poured me two cups each time.
Must be GOLGREN going in and chomping on the bags of beans.

I have been busy levelling alts and mining and crafting, Gold Plates to increase my changes and lvl 30 legs and a bit of grinding.

Mind you last night I had to leave the grinding ... the lag, or what ever it was, was sending me all over the place, the blues were attacking my RCAF and when I crawled out, I was "redlined". Very weird experience that.

OK, according to my "Date|Time" app, I have been here 10 months and ±12 days. Not so bad.

This is the story of a Knight that woke up one day, not knowing who or where he was. He was and felt, lost. This is my story.

And thus I got my name LostKnight. I have forgotten everything before this time and some things since. So it is true that my forgetter is getting better, however I plod on.

It wasn't long before I learned that there were others that liked to attack me - for fun, and not wishing to harm another being I decided I would not retaliate. Although once a long time ago out of frustration of a person that just would not quit, I hit him. A one blow kill, I am shamed to say and swore never again.

Also in my early days I learned that in this kingdom of Forgotten Tales there is no "King" for me to swear allegiance to. There is however a Council of GM's who have come up with some Common Law (Game Rules) that seemed quite reasonable and I, LostKnight, have sworn allegiance to the GM's and their Common Law.

And here I am 10 months later, finding my way. I have found out almost all about who I am but not to sure about why or how I appeared here one day. Time is a game feature in this game, the longer you stay, the more quests you do the more you find out. There are natural enemies of the Council of GM's and I face them daily.

In times of peace I mine and craft. And for a Knight I must say I'm not so bad. Last night I helped a friend craft maybe 10 lvl 500 axes. That's some nice gold he got for that.

I help others when I can, pointing them to the two people by the campfire om Map 0.0 for the young arrivals is a good way to get them interested in the game and if they follow through with what the grumpy old storyteller, Kulgan, says they can end up at level 14 or 15 within two or three days, if they do the other quests along the way as well. Well, of course that would depend on how long one plays a day.

I tank for others on occasion, that GOLGREN use to do for me. HEY GOLGREN, come on let's do it again sometime, I really miss you my friend. Honest, I promise not to kill you. Well to be honest I doubt that I could even if you just stood there. Oh and I want you to "relieve" yourself on my right viking boot. Still have my Blue Spandex Ninja Suit on under this set of over sized Viking garb so the left boot is my GOLGREN Boot of Mass Destruction. Now, as I said, if you would be so kind, I would have two GOLGREN empowered Boots of Mass Destruction

So here I am, mining and crafting, killing a common enemies of the land and hoping to make a difference with the people that live in the various villages, towns and the great Ardesia City.

Also, why is it that every month near the end of the month and the first few days of the next month that there are great periods of not seeing LostKnight on so early in the day or gone for hours at a time during the day. Well, I'm staying in Rockheim North or South playing an excellent game on my PlayStone. It's called: The Game of RealLife. :D

See you soon ...

^↑^ Oh I doubt it's better for having me here, but I'm enjoying it a lot more since I ironed out a few things and started ignoring some "stuff¹".

Well, some of us enjoy it more with you here! :)

Before meeting LK I was a 100+ player and afterwards I'm a 400+ player! I've also been one of those people who has received some of that advice, use of the Rockheim forging facilities for some of those axes, and some good old fashioned standing still and letting monsters beat the stuffing out of him while I tried to collect some keys and such. Thanks again, and sorry about that one STA trip while tanking! :D

I remember a friend asking where the foreman was .. come I'll show you ... "Stay close to the wall I say" He is a level or 2 thousand more than me. So he gets to the foreman - does his thing and says;
"Why stay close to the wall?" as he started walking nowhere near the wall....
STA

Today as opposed to Out-Law Day in FT, is In-Law Day in RL.

With 4 kids ... :( :o

Will be like a yo-yo → in-out, up-down all afternoon.

Wish me peace!
