player blocking entrance to platinum

am asking for a gm response here please

player white arch and his clan members are always grinding cave giants right where the stairway leads to the next level that has the platinum resource

they attack clanned members that try to go down to mine platinum and they spawn huge amounts of giants that make it impossible to navigate thru the giants and the players in that small passageway

can they legally do this and not be breaking any rules in the process?

this could be like blocking the bridge at spawn

white arch also has his house right in the spot where he kills giants so that he doesnt have to face retaliation for his behavior so while his clan members are attacking me he just steps out of the range of his house and fires arrows at me and if i try to attack him he moves back to his pvp protected area meanwhile his other clan members are attacking me

if i do manage to get passed the attacking players and the huge spawn of giants they follow me down to the next level and attack me there

can they do this or is this considered a violation of rule 9?

this happens constantly every day if i try to go to the platinum resource or the green devils or ghost devils for crafting drops these monsters provide

is this harassment or is this within the rules

i am not angry but am concerned that this may be a rule violation

understand that i do not have a problem being attacked as i am in a clan and being attacked is part of being in a clan and i am very used to that by now

However, if you're unclanned, they must let you through - it does not matter if they know your alt is in another clan or not.

But I've always thought it stupid that spawn can be generated in key access thoroughways, or on top of key npcs, preventing game progress.
Apparently, the content designers think it's funny.

if i unclanned they could still attack me as i am higher level then they are with the exception of white arch who is level 12k+

so i would still not be able to pass

That is the same risk we all face in this PvP game.

i was just responding that unclanning would not be an option

no one knows better than i do that pvp is part of the ft world

i have died thousands of times which is why i dont get angry when im attacked

its part of the game and comes with the territory and one gets used to being attacked so much that it doesnt bother them anymore

the players that get mad when they are attacked are the ones that havent gotten past that stage in pvp

I literally just gained access to that platinum mine yesterday, due to level requirement.
I saw the players you refer to.
I made a few trips yesterday without issue.
I made a trip just now without issue.

The only analogy I can think of is, you dug your own grave here.

What can I say?
Public forum, public comments.
If you wanted only a GM response, you could have used private message.
While you're waiting, you can review rule 9, where it says
"If blocking, camping, and possibly other actions are performed in a tactical way for a short time and within a clan fight context, they might be allowed."

So if you're making a specific report, again, private message is usually the way to go.

everyone knows who u are and knows all of ur alts so u going there and gaining passage means nothing

if u can't reason that out i don't know wat to tell u that players aren't going to mess with u

While I do agree, that I do repeat the cycle, I did not say once that I would never come back.
I think that your arguments that I keep rejoining the GM team and the idea that I was a horrible GM are contradictory, though.
Also, the idea that players wouldn't target me is foolish. While it may be true for some, it was far more common for people to target me for that very reason.
As for making up my mind, well, that's something I have issues with at times... something that you yourself also have issues with, and have admitted more than once on the forums. Like, the posts where I compared you to the ball character in "A Link to the Past". You even agreed to those.

If you really want to know why I posted here, it's because I don't like hypocrites, and it seemed your first post gave indication of that.
