Could be a bad asparagus. Welp....a nice and really nice and lovely first day back. IT began this afternoon chewing my buddies ear off about this n that. Planet 9 and such. GOOD movie, bad planet. Then I ate a level 4 noob legs while patiently explaining the game . Luckily a butcher showed up, made the whole thing easy. Crafted a 125 plate, gave it away to said noob. He was like wow! Ok then of to the house of Danger with Sellswords help. Horrifying little place. Made me tense while SellSword swept up
The knights with a dust pan. Me running around freaking out. After that he called bed time.. Then a little lazy flycasting near the foresters river and as I write (scribble) this I think how much I have missed the place where everyone is so friendly. Love it I could tell what I read in forum that made me want to return, but enough of me.
Mistakes are intentional mis spells all mine mine mine! By design. Another day will dawn. Adieu.

And a new day has dawned! Welcome back to FT!

Good times were had. Finished a bit of grinding along with a little chatting. Went to deliver a spare this and that and followed Elgur along for awhile. Told him not to stop and chat with Death in the HoH basement! ;)

Some Halloween-related events today to fill up a good part of the day. The girls have tried on their costumes seemingly 100+ times by now, so time for some [tame] haunted houses, parties, and various other things. FT when I can!

@ Elgur, The Knight in Black

AND WHAT A NICE SURPRISE IT WAS!

Code: Select all

Would someone PLEASE glue this guy down or maybe
cast a magic spell that will not allow him out of FTlandia.
We first met when we were young.¹. While I got older you must have found the Fountain of Youth.²

Ahhhhh the old Blue(ish) Spandex Ninja Suit with the GOLDREN Boot of Mass Destruction
Maybe someday I will shed these Viking cloths and wander the lands as LostKnight, the BlueNinja, again.
After all I still wear it under these over sized pieces of gear kindly given to me when I was freezing in the ice lands to the south.

Who knows!
AHA!!! The cryptic conversation takes on light! I had NO IDEA you were talking about a "movie" when you were talking about Planet 9 that Wikipedia start off with "Planet Nine is a hypothetical planet in the outer region of the Solar System."

Welcome back ... and stop changing your skin every third day!³

Be Elgur, The Knight in Black, so you can become recognized!
Hope to see much more of you.

@ SellSword

Sounds like you had an exciting day too. Keep it up, keep it up!
Elgur needs a Role Model, I can't keep him glued down, maybe you will have better luck.

Oh. sorry to say but the coffee pot on your back patio is empty again. Now, I wonder who took that last cuppa!

Hmmmm . . . talking about coffee, the pot on the kitchen of RHN is empty too and I KNOW who finished that one off!
brb!

In the house of Danger, SellSword actually said this! There's a monster down there that'll whoop you. I told him that thatsounded like a sentence out of a Stephen King novel.

"M-m-m Mister, there is a monster down there in that basement that'll whoop you good," said Sellsword.

Billy said, "Yea, well m-m-muh Mister? You see this shotgun here? I am gonna ram it up his A-hole and replace his colon with buckshot!

"Then Billy cackled like a mad dog and went trudging off to beat his monster.

When Billy(Elgur)returned from the grassy knoll(0.0)he was bloody and his clothes were ripped and shredded, which hung around him like the wrappings of some ghoul, he said, "Muh...muh...mifter?"
The old mummbling man looked up and saw that Billy's flesh from around the lower half of his face was torn-----flayed from his face. His bloody jaw was naked except for a small patch of beard which remained, soaked red with grue.
"Mister, Billy said, "you were right. That monster whooped me good."
The Old man smiled, said I told you so, and then gave Billy the secret that would defeat the hellish beast.
"Please tell me, " Billy said in a almost begging fashion.
"More levels, and a better shotgun." The old man laughed and laughed. He laughed so hard that when his breath failed him....he died.

That sounds about how the conversation went! I left a little to the imagination, and it appears the imagination did well filling in the rest!

Maybe I should have offered a +2 shotgun before I nodded off? ;)
