Premium items disappearing.

A bit of an off topic question, but I'm curious... If these items were given separate IDs would that mean they couldn't be crafted/dropped (or used for quests ?) by any player? For example if the player who originally bought it sold the item-- could the new owner lose it in pvp or craft it?

I haven't looked at the ID's but I believe they are the same as crafted gear and dropped gear from monsters. So yes these should be able to be crafted and dropped in pvp. I believe it's the same as pets. If a player buys a pet and it dies, the pet is not replaced as it is the owners responsibility. I am not compbatant though and ultimately the decision will be up to him but I believe he will look at it as gear is purchased at your own risk.

Thanks for all the advise & assistance folks. I really appreciate the help! I took Leone's advise & sought out the mithril plate in Red Cyclops areas, so I'm a little better off than I was previously with my Iron Plate replacement.

And as a seasoned gamer/former developer, I'm very impressed with the game & it's community. It's been a pleasant discovery.

One more thing about that 100 gear is when you're ready for the next equipmemt make sure you hold on to the plate, shield, and ring for sure.

If you purchased gear from the play store and lost it in pvp you MAY have an argument. I'm not the developer but I would think that if he intended for the purchased gear to not be dropped, he would have coded the gear with a separate game ID. As blitzcraig stated, you would need to contact a member of the GM staff which you indeed have already done. You have completed the first step. I have passed this issue on to compbatant so that he can take a look at this since this was indeed as you said a real money purchase. Please be patient as compbatant is very busy at the moment. One way or another I would like to post here the results of the outcome of this issue so that all players will be able to see if purchased gear can or cannot be dropped in pvp.

They were bought in this manner. I bought a gear set pack, the mithril plate was part of that. And as understand it, these items are protected according to PvP rules:

"If you die in PvP there is a 30% chance, that you lose a random equipped item, but not your weapon. (If the item was an in-game purchased item, or crafted from one, it is not dropped.)"

update:

i just got a confirmation that premium purchased gear CAN in fact be lost in pvp. these items are not protected.
