Mercenary quests

All Merc quests give xp and the odd few also award items.

Does the item awarded depend upon the player level? For example, could a player level 1k be awarded a 2k item or is it level dependent like the red question mark above NPCs?

yeah，i think items reward depend on your lvl，i no got 2k items when i lvl 1k+

The reward depends on the quest you are doing.
If your level is 1k, then you will not receive quests, after which you have a chance to get a 2k item.

In any case, only experience is guaranteed, the chance to get the item is not very high.

Thanks for the info Kromelg. I stopped doing merc "qwests" because I can level faster using pets. But I didnt know that there was a chance to get level specific items in lieu of xp. Nice to know. I dont think most know this. Neverthelss, thank you.

I've sort of postponed merc quests because they are a bit of a pain as a sword at times. Oh well, "later" will work too!

Let me clear up another misunderstanding you have LK, »» not in lieu of but "along with" xp.
