I took the three books to the monk near the library. Now I have the symbol of LI-NIR MUEN and the book Age of the high priests but when I try to talk to Sebastious, there is no question mark above his head.
What am I missing?

I believe that you bring the book and symbol to a monk on the top floor of the library. Once you do that he tells you to talk with one of the monks in the basement. That's my recollection at least...

The monk upstairs takes the book and sends you downstairs to give the symbol to Sebastius.
