Mage discovery

I started playing a mage tonight and it has been a real challenge and a lot of fun. One discovery that I did make is very depressing. When I use mana potions, they don't even fill my mana bar up halfway. Curses to whomever made the game this way. As if playing a mage isn't already hard enough. The photo shows my mana bar maxed out with potions but still has over half the bar empty.

When a mage levels they also have their hp restored but not their mana. Not sure why on that one either.

mana pots only fill stat mana, not gear, this is why u cannot fill it.

i dont understand why mana doesnt refil at lvl up either

So it would probably be more beneficial if I took off all of my gear.

I don't think removing gear would matter. If your stat mana is 100 and your total mana with gear is 200 you'll just refill the 100 whether you remove gear or not.

Yea it's just confusing seeing my mana go up not quite halfway when I'm fighting mobs and switching back and forth between pots and heal and attack.

But I'm still very low level so hopefully as my level increases this won't seem to be as much of a problem anymore.

I'll keep leveling.

As for why mana doesn't refill on level up, probably because many think mages are already OP and "they" don't want the mage to gain an advantage during mid-battle!

Yes and using them causes one to eat through their gold!
