The whole "staying" can be difficult to determine as well. I've been trying to walk past people before, maybe not have my pets get stuck where they are grinding, and when I get caught up for a moment they are already complaining. Sometimes it's an issue in the eye if the beholder and sometimes it's more than that.

I've also had people complain when I walk by by saying, "no block spawn". Like give me a break. Those players are probably guilty of the same thing.
OK MAYBE I WILL USE THIS ACCOUNT EVERY ONCE IN AWHILE
True ... tapping to walk and pets stop and attack.
Using D-Pad and pets will NOT stop and attack, unless your character is blocked and stops.
Then there are those that hunt bugs under Silverwood. They do not care is someone is just trying to walk by to get deeper undergropund, they will create a HUGE spawn and kill other players.
"But I was grinding there! Not my fault!"
A few times I've asked: "Please stop and let me pass"
"OK" was the reply - then as I start walking past ... they start spawning! GRRRRR!
If I'm trying to make my way through a tight hallway and someone keeps spawning after I ask to get through I see no problem clearing my own path through. Walking through is quite different from parking pets. A crowded hallway is also different from an open map, of course to get back to the OP.
