Where's The Elixir?

Anyone else play Final Fantasy 6 (original US FF3) enough times that they think there may be an elixir potion behind grandfather clocks?

I keep thinking I should check, but sadly no items that I have found. Yet...?

There is one grandfather's clock in FT that does something similar.
