make crossbows one-handed

if its possible to make crossbows one handed it would be great. even with little damage stats but equiping a shield on archer with crossbow is good for more armor.

That can be done with 1500 bow so I was surprised not all bows. I have an archer alt I play now and then and was surprised I couldn't equip shields with early crossbows.

My main character is an archer and so for selfish reasons I think it's a great idea!

I suppose the counter-argument that other classes *may* give is that the trade-off for having the benefit of ranged ability is a lower defensive capability (in other words, not being able to use a shield).

From a role playing point of view, isn't one of the earlier crossbows called a 'heavy crossbow '? This one lends itself to being two-handed if so!

There should be a tradeoff with range I suppose. One way or another I think it should be consistent though.

I think thst all cross bows should be able to wear shield..also archer is weaker in pvp so it would be good it they made more crossbows in game and let archers wear shields sometimes!

I'd create multiple two-handed axes that do double the damage but you can't have the shield
