...and there are still some! There are other blacksmiths who do nothing.
There would be so many little ones that they could make.
Improved equipment, to name one, or a creation not available either at home or from other blacksmiths.
But also a master in a discipline (fishing, mining, etc.) that gives you a bonus in that matter.
but at the moment they are all useless. We wait.

Without being mean let us say these NPC's are very slow learners! Eventually we hope they will get it all figured out, but for now we get to listen to their frustrated response. If only players would stop asking they are thinking! The only thing worse than failing at a task is having others constantly pointing it out by asking how it is going!

LOL I like that. There should be a variation in chat the more times you ask them:

First interaction - as in the screenshot

Second to tenth interactions - "Oh, maybe you didn't hear me. I am still learning to craft"

Tenth to twentieth interactions - "Will you leave me alone? How on earth am I going to learn how to craft with you bothering me all the time?"

Twenty first onwards - "Go away and don't disturb me. I will never craft for you".

Not cancelled ... but just not yet developed.
Other can do something I would gather, but what do I know.
The person that created the map no longer plays.
