The difference in the tower levels and player levels is that the needed input for towers (naterials and gold) never increases per level, but it does for player levels. The "removal" of player levels wasn't merely a removal. It was an adjustment of their level to what their level would have been if the experience bar was made correctly in the beginning of the game
I'm not arguing whether or not the towers need changed, or whether or not players should've been adjusted. I'm merely pointing out the difference.

Lots of older Clans also have older towers that have 15 pages. A 3K or 4K Tower is an advantage but still not impossible to take down. Just like the older style buildings with many pages if it goes down it can't be replaced but I don't think the levels should change or be adjusted at all

I can pay the gold they save to the clan dukes if the extra levels of buildings that exceed the 2850 level limit are removed. for removed levels
and so they don't lose their labor
