Computer harddrive crashed.

Must get a new one and re-install Linux and restore from my backups.

Will be a while before this happens.

So, I booted Linux from a USB stick and can at least post here and I can access my externad HDD where I have all MY important files.

Some points...
1 I cannot install Java 8 on this USB system, too old.
2 a US keyboard layout on a latam Spanish keyboard is a BAD mix for the Tpyo Knig
3 having to use a tiny phone, REALLY bad for my eyes and only one character at a time too.
4 may have to call for help to transfer stuff - new one for me I am usually helping others with this

Will not be on a lot and only doing "safe stuff" unless someone wants help a disadvantaged LK.

NOW I have to watch battery power what a cange.

New family member - a 58 day old Boston Terrier named SOX.

Actually my wife said Sox Beta as he has been glued to me since coming home. Wife says I am his Alpha.

I had a crossbreed dog, when I was a teen, between a Boston Terrier mother and a Border Collie father named Sox as well. Sox 1, did not have a pug nose of a Boston Terrier nor the long nose his father had. He had what I use to say a pig snout only square. Flat on the top, sides, botton and front. Very unique. If I find pictures of him, I think I have some, I will post later.

Great you got backups of things! So another road closed sign but eventually the repairs will get done and it will be the open road again. PC to phone kinda like 4 lane highway (6 in your case) to a sidewalk.... technology can't live with it or without it. You know my playing schedule if you need help!
