My idea is to add a "stop healing" button ..
By clicking you will treat only yourself and not everyone else!

Mages would love that idea, give them ultimate power. It's intentional that they don't have this ability.

This is one of the most long-standing discussions in the history of ft.

For however it might help, if you remove your staff, you can still heal and most others will be out of range. In addition, anyone you can target will also not be healed.

Non-mage players actually have an optional healing button that they can add. All that's needed is a trip to the store!
