Fishing impossible stuff and items

So I've heard stories of people fishing stuff they shouldn't like 1k gear or skins and recolor but I wanted to ask. Has anyone fished anything that shouldn't be possible? And how true do you think the stories of the unfishable items are? I'm referring to recent ft history is there even a chance of fishing stuff you can't fish?

unfortunately I have never fished goods beyond level 100.
And I've never heard of miraculous draws.

for me as i know it's impossible to fish real money stuff, but for 1 gear i think it's possible... not sure if it has a chance. let's see GM opinion i guess

The cap on items that can be fished is currently level 499 so nobody is going to fish items with a level above that. Many years ago there was not a cap, but there has been for several years now. If you've ever wondered why something like a lightning sting has a level of 500, there you go.

When items are created they can have several "tags" or restrictions added to them such as unique, no-trade, and/or non-fishable. That is why some items are different than the others. Quite simply, real money items can not be fished.

Yeah those are the rules I've heard of. And thanks for clearing up the lvl on items lol now it makes sense why most stuff has a lvl attached to it lol. But I'm still curious because for example someone told me they fished a 1k +1 bow so I was just wondering if that would be some kind of glitch in the fishing. And if it could happen. I've never had it happen to me personally but the best thing I've fished was the 200 staff lol those things ha, but hugest lvl was 400 gloves.

If someone says they fished a 1k+1 bow, then either:

1. It was a long time ago, before the max lvl of 499 was introduced (February 2017)
2. It was recently and they should contact the GM team
3. They are lying for some bizarre reason

Keep in mind that you can fake lots of stuff as well.
