That is the weapon button.

if you play with 5 players, to attack you just have to click on the character and everyone will

I had no problem. Just tap right over the entrance, and you should see a green arrow. Sometimes, the characters get in each other's way on narrow paths, so you may have to try several times to get them to all walk there and be close enough.
