That particular chest has been giving issues from time to time.

i am having the same issue "the chest is locked" 1 am level 881 missed it at 250 did some at 600 but b2 chest is still locked i have 10 of all chest keys no luck please assist thank you

If I remember correctly the response from ardesia was that logs showed I actually opened the chest and received the item. I did have the item she mentioned (500 shield?), so I think it gave an item but also a message about being locked.

Been awhile, but that's what I recall on that one.

EDIT: duh, that's what I wrote right below it... So I think it works but doesn't look like it does.
