I had a friend today message me, in translated Russian, asking if I wanted to buy a Snake+3... I had absolutely no idea what that could be. I asked and he sent me back the word in Russian. Which, unfortunately, I don't speak a bit of. We'll, there are only so many +3 items in game. So, I started searching all the tool types. Pick axe, Wood Axe, Axe, Hammer, Rod: nope in all. Had another idea and tried fishing rod. Sure enough, fishing rod translated to the word he told me in Russian: удочка
I'm not sure how the translator managed to get snake from that, but it did. Anyone else have common translator slip ups they know about? A few more I've seen:
Potion = onion
Plate (armor) = chair? or was it dish...?

Luminous ferret is my favorite! Though I haven't seen it recently...it appeared to be a lightning sting.

Just the other day I was "helping" justj99 as he helped another player. (I was pretty much supervising him.) The player had the quest to search for the weisstein, but I believe it was "mountain's heart" that was translated as "cherry."
