Needed Level: 250 – Due to location
Needed Quest: 1954
Quest Log: Open the Chests in the four houses of the Underground Village and steal items.

None of the chests opened for Cosair, Max Walker or DurinsFolk and now the houses are [Closed] again.
Is this quest broken or did I miss something?

If the thieves came out to attack you when you tried the chest then nothing else to do. There isn't anything to get from chests.
