Lost this mage

Anybody know where this mage is?

I got this quest maybe 2-3 months ago, and because of the the potions only being available every few days, and my forgetting for weeks to check the potion giver, I finally got the 4 potions. Unfortunately, since it's been so long, I can't find the mage. I've run around just about every dungeon I have access to and can't find him. I'm afraid I've been in the right place, and just didn't run around enough for him to spawn.

I don't even care what the reward is (I assume it's a free level), I just want the 4 spaces in my house storage and to get the quest off my list....

He's on the first island you go to from the portal on the map with the library, in one of the houses .

Thanks! I probably would never have thought to go back there and check any of those houses... Now I'm going to have to remember to go back to the other house after I craft a bunch of wands, lol
