Important Information about clan ownership transfers

Post by Akkilles »

Player's question:
Regarding the sale of clans, if a player passes on an item and there is proof of this, and the player who received the item does not keep their word, does not pass on the clan as agreed, with video and photo witnesses, can they be punished for this? Does this fall under any part of the GM team's rules against theft or illegality?

GM/Admin team:
Hello,
Thank you for your question.
To clarify: It is not the responsibility of the GMs to perform, supervise, or investigate the buying and selling of castles.
A castle sale is an agreement between two players, and according to the game rules, the responsibility lies entirely with the players who choose to carry out this transaction.
There is no rule stating that GMs must, should, or are obligated to assist with or investigate castle transfers.
The rules clearly state that staff act at their own discretion:
“New events or violations that the written game rules do not currently encompass may be handled as needed in the sole discretion of the staff.”
“The rules are enforced by our staff. You must always listen to them.”
This means staff may help in rare cases if time and circumstances allow, but it is never a guarantee and never something players can demand.
Furthermore, since castle sales are not officially protected or regulated by the rules, staff will not investigate disputes that arise from these deals. If a player chooses to buy or sell a castle, they also accept the full risk that comes with that decision.
Clan sales are not forbidden, but because the rules do not include any form of guaranteed protection, it is entirely the players' responsibility to:
Ensure both parties agree
Complete the exchange safely
Accept the risk involved if the deal goes wrong
Rule 1 also makes it clear that staff are not obligated to resolve issues caused by players voluntarily entering risky agreements, and false or manipulated reports are not allowed.
Summary:
GMs are not obligated to assist with clan sales.
GMs are not obligated to investigate any problems or disputes involving castle transactions.
Clan sales are not forbidden, but they are done entirely at the player’s own risk.
Staff help with such matters only voluntarily and never as a guaranteed service.
We always recommend that players conduct these transactions carefully and only with people they trust, as the responsibility rests entirely with you.
