Making the game enjoyable for everyone

Post by Akkilles »

First of all, everyone has the right to their own opinions. If someone wants to express an opinion, it should always be done in a respectful way.

Respect means:
● Treating others with care, dignity, and fairness
● Listening and valuing other people’s perspectives
● Communicating without insulting, threatening, or harming anyone
● Acknowledging that others have the right to their opinions, even if you disagree
● Showing patience, openness, and fairness in discussions
● Keeping a constructive tone, especially in conflicts
● Leading by example in interactions and actions
● Being mindful of cultural and language differences
● Recognizing and appreciating diversity
● Accepting that mistakes can happen and responding calmly
● Avoiding assumptions about others’ intentions
● Encouraging positive collaboration rather than conflict
● Giving others space to speak without interruption
● Following shared rules and agreements
● Adapting your communication style for clarity when needed

Opinions can include many things, for example:
● Your personal values and principles
● Beliefs or convictions
● Ideas you want to be heard
● Suggestions for change or improvement
● Personal experiences
● Feelings or reactions to events
● Feedback on the game, rules, or forum environment
● Constructive criticism
● Creative proposals
● Questions of fairness or morality
● Suggestions for new game features or events
● Ways to improve teamwork or community engagement
● Perspectives on fairness in gameplay or decision-making
● Tips for new or less experienced players
● Creative storytelling or roleplay ideas
● Advice on resolving disputes constructively
● Reflections on past events or experiences
● Questions or concerns about community safety or ethics

However, when expressing your opinions, you should never make claims based on lies, false information, or with the intention of insulting or harming others. If you do not have proof or are not completely sure about something, it is better to refrain from writing it.

This is especially important when challenging a GM.
GMs are here to inform and clarify, not to be attacked or accused unfairly. Time and again, we provide information, game rules, and forum rules. If you do not understand them or need clarification, you can ask politely, and you will receive an answer.

We do not need to act in a hostile way. We should be able to have discussions without unnecessary conflicts. A game that has existed for so long deserves positivity, not drama.
We must help each other maintain a good atmosphere to create a better gaming environment for everyone.

Thank you for reading this, and I apologize if it ended up being long.
