Like the title says.
Why do Archers and Mages move when targeting, (X), an enemy?
→ Obviously when the Mage uses the weapon and not a kill skill.
They are ranged fighters, they should not move if the enemy is in range. IMHO
→ Mage does not move if using a SCROLL
Suggestion: make it so Mages and Archers do not move when targeting and enemy.
The move causes them to move off a spawn spot at times.

If you disable “Tap to Move” in the settings, you’ll be able to attack targets from a distance without moving. (I use it when I PvP or when I try to fire all the mobs without Moving.)

Ayoub, yes that’s how it USED to work. Since Ft 9 it has been adjusted and now every time you do target anyone as archer/mage you move. I died at event a few times cause I wasn’t expecting to run towards the mob; I usually just stand and fire then change targets, it no longer works like that. Mages + archers move a step or so just to change target even though we’re in range as LK has stated

As h8ta said, Ayoub, that's not working in v9+ now.
Personally, T2M or D-Pad, on or off, it should not matter.
Mages and archers are "ranges" and as such should not move is the enemy is withing their attach range.
Therefore my suggestion:
Suggestion: make it so Mages and Archers do not move when targeting an enemy withing range.
The move causes them to move off a spawn spot at times, and or die at times as h8tr noted.
EDIT Added within range to suggestion. It's expected if you target mobs out of range to move within range limit.
Personally, T2M or D-Pad, on or off, it should not matter.

same thing happens to any of the clan buildings even if "tap to move" is turned off, your character rushes to the tapped area and a few people got frustated over this since they are bringing sieges, it wasn't like this in ft8 even if you turned on tap to move, it just show's you the "Information" icon
