Yeah at least for 100+ items right? Mages can't lose diamond robe at all but everybody else can lose anything but weapons and in my opinion gold plate/fire plate/mystic mask/swamp helm worth much much more than the buyable items that are protected people sell gold plate at 100mil, 100k is buyable for $1.54 if i wanted a gold plate I'd need to spend $1,540 USD to buy gold plate in-game and why so somebody can kill me for it lol. Now i understand not many ppl buy gold but even if 1m was buyable for $1.54 gold plate would still be $150 which is not worth spending the cash just to lose it

I think all items (minus purchasable) should drop upon death on a small % chance.
All items should have a 'pad-lock' that you speak of to protect items, and if you obtain outlaw status, they then become disabled.

I fully agree with what secular said it's a very good idea and i support 200% innocent players die everyday just to lose what takes days, maybe weeks to earn. Lost in what, maybe 2 minutes? Maybe 2 seconds from a hostile mage, not worth it, i wear shop armor maybe 50% of the time because of people who can kill me in 0.5 seconds lol, the other 50% i use my gull gear setup but always worry about people popping up and teleporting me to spawn map hahaha this is deffinately something that should be taken care of. Maybe perhaps use one of the unused maps as a PvP map/arena (like an older post of mine) for all players with a 50% chance to drop their items this would make it fun for pvpers and other maps would have a good peaceful environment Cuz all the pvpers would be at their PvP map

Well, I do agree with you, here, but those items which are very hard to craft, just like the gold plate should have the same protection, as the diamond rob enjoys. If I drop it in a nano second then why should I spend days on crafting a gold plate? Do you know how boring is crafting? Or grinding for 100m gold?jimknight92 wrote:I fully agree with what secular said it's a very good idea and i support 200% innocent players die everyday just to lose what takes days, maybe weeks to earn. From another perspective, if I purchase gold from the log in menu, and buy a gold plate using the same gold, then don't you think I deserve protection for my plate? Because the item has been bought using real money, converted into FT currency. Here, again, we are being treated not fairly. Why would a mage enjoy protection for a crafted rob which he has not bought for real money?
Real money is time that we spend on game. Now what is the advantage of a hard earned gold plate which I cant wear during PvP or during a travel to other parts of the map? This reduces the game experience for many; like in the real world, we have many greedy bandits on game, who always keep their evil eyes on your gear. Let the mystic mask be dropped, fire plate, and other items but not those which are very hard to craft like mithril shield or gold plate.
Make the game fun for us. Thanks
