clan request spamming

Post by diamat-nc- »

This has been goin on for awhile, when some one clan request you and you dont join.they keep doin it til you do.ive played my alts with clan request hub on so they cant request you anymore.but it gets annoying a lot.there should be a grace time like 30 mins maybe.so they can only request you 1 time every half hour.i had to atk the requester earlier so he'll leave me alone.which is hilarious. Lol.

Yes I agree there should be some way to stop this. Maybe an option you can toggle to block all clan join requests, and why not friend requests while you're at it? They both get abused.

This should be posted under suggestions IMO.

I love the idea of 30 minute wait time to be asked again. That is one of the more annoying things about not being in a clan.

I'm not sure I would like an on/off switch. I might miss a friend/clan request I wanted because I forgot it was active. A time delay would be much appreciated.

Yeah but if you know you want it, you can switch it off. I think if a clan/friend genuinely wants you, they will be patient enough to wait for you to do this. Also I would add a notification to requester "this person is not accepting at this time", so they can let you know to switch it.

I would simply like the requests not to pop up at all, let them ask me in chat.

Maybe the difference is, I'm a new player and wanting to make alliances, you are an established player that has already done so. I like that I can be asked in game. I like that it is easy to do. But I don't want to be spammed either. One particular clan has been abusing this lately and I have had players machine gun friend requests too. I think a time delay fixes this best but would welcome any solution.

I agree here, a grace period would go a long way for clan/friend requests.
Until that happens unfortunately, feel free to PM or find a moderator in-game to deal with the said player(s) as this is abusive game play that is punishable.
