Class specialization and diversification
What if when you reach level 100, you get to choose a specialty for your class?
My idea is either offensive/defensive/supportive, or maybe good or evil if you prefer.
Your 3rd (and possibly 4th) skill would depend on your choice, giving greater variety to the game. These could be offensive or defensive skills, or even miscellaneous skills.
Some ideas are healing abilities if you choose a good swordsman (i.e. Paladin), or perhaps a boost to mining/woodcutting speed if you choose Dwarf support skill. Also mages could gain a spell based on their alignment.
These subsets of classes could even have special limited skins if you like.
Please post your thoughts, and maybe skills/class subsets you would like to see.

Re: Class specialization and diversification
I support this, but the skills must be very balanced otherwise all ppl would choose the same speciality

- j0eylamcy(mage,110+)
- meatshield(ogre,75)
- j0ey1amcy(dwarf,50+)

Re: Class specialization and diversification
I certainly love the idea would love to see something like this implemented into the game, paladin can have defensive auras like armor/healing etc and the (evil) side could have something like "thorns" i think it is in other MMOs but basically it's a taste of your opponents own medicine say maybe 5-10% damage is returned back to the opposing player or mob i think auras can be used for all classes. I don't have a dwarf but his lvl 30 skill is an aura i believe. I'd say in this game for balancing new skills are needed. Can have a large variety like 10% damage reduction, +1%hp/second aura, 5-10% damage returned, 50% mana resist (only dwarf right now but i think all should have at some point), +10% strength boost, vampyrism (evil healing of sorts) but say 5% life leech each successful attack landed
All the old knives that have rusted in my back, I drive into yours.

The idea is certainly worth thinking. It would be very interesting to see development like that taking place at the characters.

I think if skills were thought out, it could create new dynamics and create new variations in party play.
