For timezone conversion, I suggest making a post of the current time. That way people can know when to come. For instance, this post is at 12:46 pm.

My gmt (Greenwhich mean time) is GMT+0 (uk)
America is GMT-5 I think so 11:30 for you.
Post ur gmt an i will convert for you.

I think there is DST in some places like UK, so Mikael's method is better

Yeah, I'm a big fan of saying, 24 hours from right now, at XX:XX GMT we will be doing etc... that way you can look at forum time, also straight conversation instead of converting GMT-3 TO GMT -6 or whatever
