was much better. Lots of players so some lag, but my wifi sucksblitzcraig wrote:weird -- well the goal was fewer (but stronger) spawns to help with lag... sorry it didn't work for you --- did it seem to help at all?

Re: colosseum official grand opening parties
The party was a blast. There was not an iota of lag. I could move as freely as I can move in real life. The ideas of fewer monster at one time and level restriction are the best ever thought of. It clearly gives a message that how mods are concerned about our playing experience.
Furthermore, there was no complain, no frustration, no disappointment, as there was a fair level cap for participants. Drops were purely on luck and battle strategy. And XP on your attacks timing. This is something you should do for yourself. For what is game, if you don't use your head.
I really enjoyed myself. Not that I got drops. I did not get one but It is not only about drops. We play for fun and enjoyment. The drops and xp gained are by-products of our gaming experience.
Thank you very much Blitz, MadMikael, Arachnia, and especially AYC LOOOOL
P.S: Sec party was also very good but due to the lag the fun factor was lower.

thank you for input and kind words
-- we do care, you're right
.... the idea of bosses I think worked well in some ways, but it is not without its downsides either. the disconnect issue is really frustrating for some because with smaller monsters, you have time to kill them and get xp before and DC. also, the classes with a %damage skill really have an unfair XP advantage this way compared to regular party. All in all, I'm glad we tried it, and surely will do it again, but I don't think all parties should be this way.
Still happy to get more input (good or bad)

The % damage skill does not have a real advantage unless you are well-build. Many of such classes, I saw, were unable to hit the monsters with fire arrow.blitzcraig wrote:thank you for input and kind words-- we do care, you're right

Many mages, as I was informed, could not score more than 2 or 3m xp but they were able to get more drops compared to the % damage skill classes.

I primarily used fire arrows and gained over 4m exp, lvled and got a good drop.

Still happy to get more input (good or bad)Thanks to the dex factor. Besides, the % damage skill classes have lower chances of any drops. So, the one and only thing is xp gained.

I was lv116 archer with high dex. I hit many monsters with fire arrows and probably get more than 50mil XP (no kidding)

Congratulations. I was referring to the monsters for level 200 + party. Such monsters have higher dex. It does help though.3RayJ3 wrote:I primarily used fire arrows and gained over 4m exp, lvled and got a good drop.

Wow great. I was a level 202 archer. Had used my state points wisely, not focusing primarily on xp. I got some 244m xp and got 3 levels. Of course, I am not kidding. loljoeylamcy wrote:Elia wrote:The % damage skill does not have a real advantage unless you are well-build. Nice
.. yeah, mages will always have advantage in drops, not really anything to do about that except separate parties I think
