My uncle recently got out of the army, he told me that you could see stuff that will haunt somebody their whole life, he has been in crazy stuff overseas. Hopefully you don't get drafted

If its in the US, they currently dont practice conscription (drafting). They do have a volunteer force though. If you live in Singapore, when you turn 18 your conscripted by law into the military for at least a year.

Whatever it is. Im told he lives in the US. If thats the case their currently not practicing conscription. I just talked to a good friend in the know on it. Hes not aware that its happening and that if it was, he would know. Again, if you dont live in the US, well... Gutted, have fun. Because its not what youl expect the military to be.
