Little cheat to faster item looting

Probably you know it already, since it is pretty simple: just start a fight with a single monster that you know spawning the desired object and save right before killing it. Then reload till it drops the item.
Most of the time you will get nothing, but it is faster than ordinary playing.
In this way, I've got a diamond staff from the pink mages, but I'm still trying to get the 25-mana-bonus staff from the vampiric warlocks.
Anyway, it is pretty sad and boring to being forced to use this "strategy" but there is no other way to proceed in the game, since there is no way to kill monsters without the proper equipment and the 0,1% drop rate is just wrong because, again, you'll get the items (if you are lucky) when you don't need them anymore.

i use this a lot if i want some items with rare drops, same goes with crafting

It is not a hack! How is this interfering with the game code? Then even loading after being killed is a hack. Really hope that you are joking, dude.
