adds back after payment?

I payed to remove the adds when playing the game. Yet now they are back and being annoying as usual. Why have the adds come back after i payed to have them removed?

This is a problem on the google end.. its been reported several times (and fixed) on forum already.

I don't use google play, so not sure exactly.. but, I think it involved either clearing of cache, or reinstall..
