PvP limit for clan members
I say there should be a limit for PvP between clanned members too, and here's why: once you have completed the available quests and fought your share of personal battles, you have one last thing to keep you in game, and that is clans. And here lies the problem. I can see how at the game birth all players were equal and had equal possibilities, but now some time has passed, and there are unbelievably high-leveled players in game. And some of those players are outright maniacs, or serial killers, if you prefer this term. They will hunt you down for pure sport, because you, as a low-level char, can not really give them neither costly gear, nor big XP gain, or even a satisfaction of a good fight won. Some people may consider this as whining, but I'll just say this: in these conditions you are left with a choice: either you leave clan, which means you will leave the game pretty soon, because you have exhausted all other sources of fun, or stay and get killed pretty often, which can make you leave game with the same efficiency.
I say the limit should be a number of levels higher than target, or a percentage, say char A can attack char B if "A" is 100 (or less) levels higher, or 50% (or less) levels higher than "B", whichever number is lowest. Lower chars are free to attack highers unlimited, of course. With the exception of clan maps, to make war campaigns possible. Maybe, add some maps for such purposes.
This change will, of course, displease some power-hungry maniacs, who have nothing more to do with a lot of their time and/or money, but the current system deters many more players, who want to experience being a part of a beautiful system of clans without being constantly harassed. Concerning buying levels - I really don't think there are many players ready to buy, say, 300-900 levels just to stop harassment. But if such limits are implemented, buying a few levels to get out from under pressure of particular foes becomes a very realistic option.

This has always been one of the primary problems with ideas like this...I believe it could be solved simply by setting clan PvP limits on all maps EXCEPT clan maps.Insiders/Inferno! wrote:High lvls will be not allowed to defend buildings?
About the original post here, while I would suggest somewhat different numbers, I agree mostly with the idea. Two changes I'd recommend: 1> the level limit should work both ways... player A should never be able to attack player B unless player B can attack back afterwards (this is the primary issue with non clan PvP as well) 2> if clan mechanics are developed a bit, we could implement something a little more advanced here: ALLY, NEUTRAL, and ENEMY clans could have different PvP limits (no attacking ally, can attack neutral, but only inside the PvP limits, and no limit (or broader limits) on enemy clan or something like this) ... Anyway, I'm glad you brought this back up, it's been awhile

Player2: nice,but i reccomend you a soap
Blitzcraig: its not easy to buy a cake in map 1.1, so i reccomend to develop a new dish with 7 types of meat and zander fish. But it is very old idea, and we are trying to understand how wolf meat works and fix all the bugs ...

Re: PvP limit for clan members
I think i did write:
"With the exception of clan maps, to make war campaigns possible. Maybe, add some maps for such purposes."
The exception here IS for the PvP limit itself.
About ability of lowers to attack highers: I believe it's ok, because you can retaliate when attacked.

Re: PvP limit for clan members
Yeah, I should have pointed that out...I was agreeing with what you had already said about clan PvP maps
About the other, I guess we will have to agree to disagree..if you'd like a more thorough explanation of why I have the opinion I do, I'd be happy to share...otherwise no point arguing...we can't always agree on everything LoL
