feedbacks from my alternative game

Post by 0rion79 »

Hi, since it was a while that I wasn't writing anymore, I have thought to bother you all a bit with the excuse to give a short feedback to programmers and the community, since I have restarted the game anew with my secondary mobile (a much weaker one).
Inevitably, I got stuck again around level 50-60 because:
- I can't get equipment from vampire swordmen and warlocks, due to the drop rate
- without the equipment, killing monsters by levelling up is too hard
- carrying on the princess with me has been a boon at the early stages (now I have to protect the bandits from her! ) but she became ineffective (as the blue knight would) because there is only one claymore and I can't make the vampire swordmen or the blue dragon (very tough) to drop any sword, so she can't deal enough damage only with the 20-points earth blade (or whatever).
- I have tried to use the mage more defensively but, by pumping his dexterity to prevent him from being slain by other mages and ranged creatures, he got totally useless both in healing, buffing and in harming
- the game has become a frustrating save & reload, reload, reload due the percentage of failure in crafting, that involves loosing the materials, and due to the attempt of getting weapons from enemies.
- I can confirm the huge "jump" in levels and money that happens when ready to kill the yellow bandit archers.

That's all!

Blue archers? Lol :D I didn't even know of their existence! :)
Yes, but if you watch my tables on this forum you will see that they give so much more gold and XP even than stronger monsters: they are broke. And the initial part of the game is the funniest because of the many quests, items and good balance.
Also I have a sort of Xena, warrior "princess" in my party: what could I ask more? :)

What do u want to know? I just dont complete her quest by accompanying her to the king and instead I carru her with me levelling her up as a normal swordman in place of the blue knight. Even he was really much stronger.

Well, when there was the XP sharing among henchmen it was not convenient to keep her in the team, since she start with a total of 0 skill points. At the beginning, she is able to deal very few damage but later on she becomes much more useful and, depending by the weapon, even more effective than the ogre. Still, the blue knight had much better stats and HPs but you must give it up to obtain the mage.
Now that the spell damage is really divided per the number of enemies, I find the mage much more convenient for healing than for harming: it really saves money and time.
Anyway, who cares for 200 golds as reward for saving the princess? she is not even connected to any major plot in the game!

:D KING: oh, hero! You have saved my daughter! Here is 200 gold for ...
 PRINCESS: No dad, I want to stay with him! Look, I became as strong as a man and I love slaying foes now!
:o KING
LOL ! :D
