Facts:
1. Items of level 100 and higher can be crafted in clan buildings only.
2. Buildings take a lot of time to erect.
3. Buildings can not survive without high-level protection.
4. Level 100 is low, considering bloodthirsty maniacs lvl500 and higher.
5. Existing high-level clans may be not suitable for players due to various reasons.
Question:
How can one craft something adequate to his/her level in these conditions?
Possible solutions:
1. Clan smithy. Un-killable, un-levelable, temporary to avoid spamming abuse - say, a day or two lifespan, then self-destruct. Can not be built in range of any other clan's buildings reach to avoid blocking abuse.
2. Default smith crafting is expanded for clan members.
3. Clan craft level requirement is raised to level 200, which is viable, considering new gear.
Thoughts, anyone?

"Just" get good team? What if the clan is small, it has no right to craft? What if members are dispersed all over the globe, playing at different times? etc.

It's not hard to build. I'ts hard to protect. And so the gap widens. Low-level clans build, get buildings destroyed, time and money lost time and again. While clans, who have pre-existing buildings prosper and only make money in the same time.
And your solutions is "screw new ppl, we have a clan and we are happy"?
I don't think it's fair.
It does not have to be either one extreme, or the other one (easy to build / hard to build).
And some clans are too small to be that effective. Anyway, even high-level buildings are prone to destruction without adequate protection.
