Lately have written privately a lot with Gandhalf and have suggested him just to differentiate values from RPG to MMORPG, like crafting and drop rate, or even monster stats, while keep sharing the graphic and all other elements. We'll see what it will be.

But the true question is: why pink mages don't drop pink boots? let's go trendy! XD

Personally I prefer this as well, we will see ;)
As for boots, LoL the huntress is set to drop those...Will be introduced in next map update (Gandalf's map and next part of his quest)

Sorry, but I can't bear anymore a save-&-reload game with 5% of crafting success or 0,1% of essential items drop.
I'm more interested in helping to develop the game rather than to play it anymore.

There is definitely a bug in the crafting portion of the game. I tried 70 times to make a mi thrill shield with 7% chance and failed every time. This is very frustrating.

It is not a bug. This is how probability works. Somebody will try 10000 times and fail, somebody will success for the first time and all is still good.

It took 93 times to eventually get the shield. Using the probability of 7%, I should have made 6.51 shields in 93 attempts. On average, it should take 14.28 attempts to make a shield. 93 attempts is so many standard deviations from the average to make this a matter of bad luck. There either has to be a flaw in the game or in the Android operating system which produces random numbers.

I think its 7 promille, not 7 procent :)

Probability is 7‰, not 7%.

It means that you should have gotten one shield after 142.86 attempts. So you were lucky. :-)

I am struggling with Gold Plate, though. I tried crafting it more than 200 times and still nothing. :-(
