Engagement Ring

Post by DWLewis »

How does one find something ramdomly in the forest (over near the West Coast Magic/Pet Shop)?
You kill an enamy, you see what it drops over by the mini-map.
You walk through the forest and you can't see anything unless you engage something.
I just can't follow. I don't know how to find it without engaging something.

The ring is laying on the ground, no monster slaughter required.

correct, it is a new feature. items can simply lay on the ground. it is around 140.10 or so on that map.
(use /pos as chat command, if you dont know these coordinates)

also, there are now hidden entrances somewhere ;)

In many RPGs, to find something randomly in the forest near the West Coast Magic/Pet Shop without engaging enemies, you may need to look for highlighted objects or areas that can be interacted with, such as glowing items or sparkling ground objects. Some games have mini-map indicators showing item locations or collectible drops, so following these markers can help you locate items without combat. Additionally, focus on exploring areas where enemy encounters or item drops tend to happen, and keep an eye out for non-combat interactions like gathering herbs or finding hidden treasure. If you're struggling, looking for specific guides for that section could provide helpful direction.
