Monster Types
I think a good idea to add is types of monsters, like fire type monsters, ice, dark, and so on. And also for players add a armor and weapon enhancement system where u can go to let's say the blacksmith and enhance your weapon/armor. These enhancements can stack and it makes so a certain percentage of that kind of attack is absorbed. And also this is where choosing a good class comes in. We can say Swordsman is resistant to 30% of let's say dark type attacks. Dwarf resistant to fire. Ogre to ice, archer to another type, and same for mage. And one more addition, when you create your character you should be able to choose a type of player you want to be. This can help in PvP since knowing your opponent might be weak to you type. There is more I would like to add but I don't know how to word it =(

I like this...it sounds like a fantasy version of rock/paper/scissors. For example, if someone wears fire armour this provides them with some protection against fire arrows/swords/whatever. However, if someone attacks them with an ice axe/arrow then this gives extra damage.
