I have book but they not talk to me

I got book who stolen by mage but man and creepy stranger are not talking to me what's wrong? Can any one have explanation?-thanks

you need to be level 150 to finish that quest (tbh I'm not sure when or why the level requirements changed.... it was originally the same level to enter the mage tower so you couldn't get the book too early) ... at least there's a bank now

In addition, the book has to be in your backpack, not in the "overhead display".

I've just had the same problem im lvl 125 i couldn't give it to the creepy devil but i could give it to the boy. weird. maybe its because i only spoke to the devil first then found the boy for the first time with the book? it didnt have a break between asking me to get the book and him saying that i had it and could i give it to him instead. ? so is there no lvl restriction for the boy ? or is it because i had it already either way is this a bug?
