multiple level dungeon

Post by NoCussPlz »

Have a dungeon with 99 + floors with lots of secrets, moster, & locked doors chests and qwests!
There could be a red door on the first floor with a chest inside and a monster on the 10th floor drops the key. You could scatter a complete set of gear through out the floors (with a question of which class you are then that would be the gear you find) and each floor is harder than the first, so you level as you go !
Start out the map with a qwest to retrieve an item from the bottom floor then return it to have another qwest to find a new item! Fighting your way down and back out again!

Yeah, of course the endless dungeons. This would be great, a challenge mode for people to compete for "deepest run" (or to complete the high challenge modes). Hidden within these levels/floors are the most rarest of items you must find!

Each level has a "completion objective" and stairs down.

Every X floors would be a boss floor, the boss would appear at the stairs to the next level (this would be a boss already existing in the game, though you could have a 'super-boss' of sorts on deeper levels.

Randomly throughout the dungeon (or possibly every Y floors), you would be able to find a Provisioner's Wagon in a room, where you can purchase provisions.

As always, you can fight in a group.

I actually thought about this, but honestly don't know if data space would cause issues with doing such....

Great thought though.

the template for a dungeon already exists.... simply use the special events dungeon as a template and and add down stairs only.... no escape except for every 10 lv u get a teleport out then u start all over
make each lvl progressivly harder... and the down stairs requires a dropped key from a mini boss from that floor that spawns every 2 minutes ......

now im thinking... hmmmm

Same thing my raid post was about some time ago
I think its really funny when players team up for the dungeon and take a role like tank dmg dealer or healer
This way the classes would finally fit their destiny
