Quest Marker and Pick ups

Im fairly new to FT but I have noticed alot of people (including myself) get lost while doing quests. I have a few ideas of how it can be fixed. Maybe when your looking at quest log it gives u the region for next part of quest. Or show it on the map similar to how u see friends/crew members. Also It is hard to see drops/quest items when the chat builds up. Ive already failed a few quests on previous accounts cuz I never saw item (such as book from.wood cutter). I think at least quest items should go directly into inventory similar to gold when rewarded. Just some opionions hope they help!
