i was thinking maybe we could add another skill to the ingame menu so we have cut,mine, build,fish,craft and a new one luck? so example instead of the regular fixed drop rate pvm (only) drops it could increase by a small amount the more times a monster doesn't drop an item. ie at lvl0 0.10 drop rate
lvl1 0.10 plus 10% of original drop. so it would be 0.11. then 0.12 and so on it wouldn't be alot of course but it would make the game more interesting and an extra plus to farm items instead of xp ? i originally put it sshould increase based on drop amount but this would be mad lol all players would be attacking weak monsters to mass bulk up their skill for the rarer drops...lol also if this is to work it would need to be not 1 point per item not droped but rather 1 point per item not droped for wolf etc... to deter players from gaining rapid skill for nothing...10 points per item not droped for trappers etc... and maybe alot more for stronger monsters.... and in stead of lvl 1 only needing a few points to lvl up it should be 10 fold like what the mining skill rate is and so on....a bit like the craft skill...
