Issue with skilling

Haven't played to much in last few months besides portal event. Decided I wanted to finish off BK tower from 3800 to 4000. However no matter what I do, my mage cannot chop wood or mine for stone. It's becoming quite frustrating honestly.

Found the only way for me chop wood or mine stone is to trigger both a building and the resource at the same time.

I had an issue similar to this not long ago.
I'd click on a tree or stone and couldn't mine it.
Workaround - walk next to tree and hit action button (your weapon icon) and it should work.
After I did that, it worked fine.
