Crocy's don't drop boots

I've been grinding Crocy's northeast of bank town and they aren't dropping boots. They have dropped around 100 shields but according to the monster's manual, the boots and shields are both supposed to have a 20% drop rate. Am I missing something?

They do drop speed boots alot. You can farm them on map 2 -2 in the bottom right coner of the grid. Not sure why your having trouble getting them. If you have a pair in you sack, wear them, it mite help to generate a new drop. good luck.

Speed boots were a one time drop. If you have a pair you need to put it in the bank in order to get a second pair.

Edit: My apologies. I didn't realize I was in the offline thread. I don't know how it works in the rpg.

I spent a hour trying to get more than 1 pair of boots, I even wore a pair and left the grid alot but I could not get another pair. So I would say you are right.
I did go threw this and was able to collect more than 1 pair but it was years ago, many up date have come since then and changed may have come with them. I remeber having one of my charaters always stopping and waiting for the gang to catch up in walking speed. KInd of like a kid going to the candy store.. lol
It takes a little time and more strength but the next level boots are agile boots at level 15.
Getting to level 15 is super fast with ex points gathered from yellow archers which are very easy to kill. Even up to level 50 is pretty easy. After that is where people loose intrest because it takes much more time to level up.
I would say, hang in there, ............ it is worth it.

But it is good, that quite soon are available next boots (for example agile boots). That is for beginning of game. So, soon all members can walk faster.
And if you need them for making of blitz boots (from level 100), just make one pair of blitz boots ... and go to fight for next pair of speed boots ... and then again, make blitz boots ... and once around. But it is a bit incormfortable.

Sorry my friend but yes, we did have speed boots on all my charaters. This was when they first came out around the end of nov or dec 2012, players were not happy with their walking speed so compbatant fixed it, around version 1.34.
