Ingame status messages display missing

On my Samsung GT-I9060I (aka Galaxy grand neo plus), Android 4.4.4, FT app version 5.0.9
No status message display, ever.
No level up nor monster stats messages, as well as no "you are attacked by X", "your clan building is attacked by X", "you need these resources" and so on messages.

I mostly play on tablet, but I believe it's possible that some phone-only player is experiencing this bug and that it has to be reported and fixed

Are the notifications for the app turned off in your app manager? I had the same problem on my tablet until I realized notifications were turned off.

They were switched off, tnx for suggesting it.
Considering how important these messages are during gameplay, I suggest to have them ON by default at app installation, were that to be possible

It is normally on by default.
